What you will do

• Shoot video for news reports and digital content.
• Operate TVUs and set up, compose and execute live shots.
• Discuss assignments, logistics and shot requirements with other personnel.
• Edit video clips for television broadcasts and CTV episodes.
• Create vertical videos and write content for TV newscasts, WOODTV+ and WOODTV.com.
• Maintain video equipment and perform related duties.

Requirements

• Fluent English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with video recording equipment and standard office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in controlled environments.
• Ability to lift, set up and operate cameras, tripods, lights and similar equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• College diploma.
• One year of experience operating video recording equipment.
