Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python/React)

Location: Fully remote, work from anywhere; flexibility for meetings during US Eastern hours required

What you will do

• Ship production Python backends, TypeScript/React frontends, and data pipelines.
• Translate ambiguous client requirements into designed, built, and deployed software.
• Own products end to end, from initial requirements through running systems.
• Make architecture decisions, improve code quality, and maintain durable technical documentation.
• Work independently while contributing through code reviews, pair programming, technical writing, and technical presentations.
• Mentor engineers and raise team capabilities without moving into a purely managerial role.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping production systems owned end to end.
• Expert-level Python knowledge, including async programming, profiling, optimization, and the Python ecosystem.
• Strong TypeScript, Node, and React skills with the ability to build complete features across the stack.
• Experience with clean APIs, thoughtful data models, testing, logging, and systems handling real load.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and communicate clearly with clients.
• Experience mentoring others while remaining a hands-on senior individual contributor.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI-augmented development workflows while controlling technical debt.
