Technical Business Analyst (Data Management)

Location: Bucharest - Dacia One, Romania; hybrid work from home or the office

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders from Financial Insights, Direct Products, Service and Operations, and KYC to gather and clarify requirements.
• Develop conceptual and logical data models and support engineers in translating them into physical models.
• Create detailed specifications for sourcing and structuring data in the data lake.
• Design testing scenarios and participate in functional testing.
• Define and maintain requirements for data quality, lineage, privacy, security, metadata, and data dictionary management.
• Align data lake implementations with architects and the target architecture, while contributing to process automation and responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar technical business analyst role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and databases and/or data warehouses.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience gathering requirements and writing technical and functional specifications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.
• Experience in banking, financial institutions, Credit Risk, or Credit Risk modelling.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modelling, data warehouse technology, and data governance practices.
• Experience with data quality, lineage, security, privacy, lifecycle management, and issue remediation.
• AI experimentation experience.
