Summer 2027 Loan Operations Intern (Charleston, SC Onsite)

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States. The position is in-office five days a week, 40 hours per week, with an opportunity for some remote work days. Work location: 34 Broad St, Charleston, South Carolina 29401. Minimal travel is required.

What you will do

• Participate in workshops, training sessions, internship activities, and special projects.
• Assist with loan boarding, servicing, collateral management, customer and lender support, and operational risk and controls.
• Support data analytics, due diligence on operational platforms, and document reviews for client engagement and outreach.
• Collaborate with operations managers, analysts, specialists, and team leaders on consumer and business initiatives.
• Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Rising senior graduating in December 2027 or May 2028 preferred; a 3.4 GPA is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical and creative mindset, eagerness to learn, proactive approach, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and complete mandatory compliance training and new employee orientation.
