Product Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Provide product and engineering oversight for assigned silicon products and related manufacturing processes.
• Implement and track yield, reliability improvement, and cost-reduction projects.
• Work with manufacturing operations and process engineering suppliers to improve product quality, profitability, and process performance.
• Support new product development for assigned product lines and coordinate with Fab, Planning, Application and Reliability Engineering, and Assembly/Test teams.
• Conduct failure analysis and use testing methodologies and hardware to resolve product issues.
• Perform data analysis and data mining with Minitab, JMP, or similar tools, and apply basic SPICE modeling to product design and optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Microelectronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 1 year of product engineering or related engineering experience; bachelor’s applicants may require 3+ years of same-industry experience, while working experience is optional for master’s applicants.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Knowledge of failure analysis methodology, testing hardware, SPICE modeling basics, and data analysis tools such as Minitab and JMP.
• Training or coursework in Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Total Quality Management, project management, and time management.
