What you will do

• Perform venous and arterial vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex, color duplex, Doppler, waveform, and segmental pressure studies.
• Conduct extracranial carotid, vertebral, abdominal aortic, mesenteric, renal, and transcranial Doppler examinations.
• Complete specialized studies such as vein mapping, renal allograft examinations, dialysis access graft evaluations, cavernosal color duplex studies, and exercise testing.
• Obtain patient histories, maintain clinical and departmental records, and prepare preliminary reports.
• Notify attending physicians of significantly abnormal findings according to departmental procedures.
• Maintain examination rooms and equipment, coordinate patient flow, participate in quality assurance, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) license required.
• CPR BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Associate's degree and at least 3 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to perform the required vascular and neurovascular imaging procedures and meet departmental quality standards.
• Commitment to learning new procedures and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Nice to have

• Five or more years of experience as a Vascular Technologist.
• CPR-ACLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Vascular Technology or a Health Science field.
