Solution Architect (AI): Partnering with Sales and customers to translate business needs into technical solutions and guide AI model deployments with an accent on technical discovery, solution design, and hands-on customer implementations. Focus on optimizing inference performance, managing complex deployment patterns for various AI modalities, and leading proofs of concept.

Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA

Salary: $165,000 – $275,000 + equity

What you will do

• Partner with Sales on customer discovery calls and lead product demos.
• Drive technical scoping to align on success criteria, architecture, and deployment approaches.
• Own benchmarking and repeatable deployments for various AI modalities, including LLMs, embeddings, and VoiceAI.
• Advise on infrastructure tradeoffs like GPU selection (H100s vs B200s) and latency-optimized setups.
• Become a power user of different runtimes such as vllm, sglang, and TRT-LMM.
• Drive POC and project execution, including scoping and acting as a project manager for POCs.

Requirements

• Strong AI/ML background with the ability to credibly discuss AI/ML topics with technical stakeholders.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills for structured discovery and clarifying ambiguous requirements.
• Technical depth to scope solutions without needing to write production code.
• Comfort with scripting and prototyping to move quickly in technical workflows.
