Store Director (Cannabis Retail)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Full-time, in-store leadership role requiring availability during all dispensary operating hours, including nights, weekends, local events, and holidays. Flexibility to travel at short notice is required.

What you will do

• Oversee dispensary General Managers and all day-to-day store operations.
• Lead hiring, training, coaching, employee reviews, scheduling, payroll, and succession planning.
• Drive revenue, sales performance, customer service, and store KPIs including ADS, UPT, sell-through, payroll, and business expenses.
• Manage inventory, cash handling, financial processes, facility upkeep, and operational reporting.
• Maintain compliance with Louisiana regulations and internal procedures, including METRC and POS inventory processes.
• Coordinate customer experience initiatives, promotions, community events, local partnerships, and festival-related operations.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis-related industries.
• 5–10 years of customer-service experience.
• Strong people-management, communication, critical-thinking, and performance-management skills.
• Experience with cash and inventory management, Microsoft Suite, and Excel.
• Ability to pass a background check and remain flexible regarding working hours and short-notice travel.
• Ability to lead compliance, operational, and customer-service standards in a regulated cannabis retail environment.

• 2–4 years of cannabis industry experience.
• Dutchie POS experience.
• METRC Seed-to-Sale experience.
• Wurk HRIS experience.
