Head of Sustainability (ESG)

Location: 100% onsite at the Irving, Texas headquarters, United States

What you will do

• Lead the development, expansion, and implementation of the company’s ESG strategy.
• Align ESG initiatives with 7&i Holdings’ short- and long-term strategies.
• Oversee sustainability budgets, forecasting, reporting, and program development.
• Advise on sustainability compliance, market risks, regulatory requirements, and ESG standards.
• Manage relationships with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, industry partners, and external ESG advisors.
• Develop ESG performance reporting and educational programs for employees, franchisees, and licensees while coaching the ESG team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in ESG or sustainability leadership.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• Proven success developing ESG strategy and measuring progress against goals.
• Executive-level communication skills and experience leading ESG strategy within a public company.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization, influence stakeholders, conduct research, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of consumer brands, retail, and the retail fuel industry.
• Global experience, particularly in Asia.
