Electronic Assembler (Electronics)

Location: Hollister, California, United States; onsite weekend shift, 5:00 AM–6:00 PM Friday–Sunday

Salary: $20–$37 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus

What you will do

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic components, PCBs, subassemblies, and related units.
• Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble products using drawings, visual aids, and written instructions.
• Hand-load PCB assemblies and solder electronic components, including fine-pitch components, with lead and lead-free solder.
• Read schematics, customer and engineering drawings, and assembly callouts.
• Inspect assemblies under a microscope, identify soldering anomalies, and complete repairs.
• Support continuous improvement and attend offsite training when required to maintain certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify component values.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, schematics, drawings, and visual aids.
• Ability to work independently, plan and complete assigned tasks, and communicate effectively.
• U.S. citizenship or other qualifying U.S. Person status is required, or the ability to obtain required U.S. Government export authorizations.

Nice to have

• IPC-J-STD certification.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge or certification.
