Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (LNG)

What you will do

• Design, install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, auxiliary equipment, and control systems.
• Maintain electrical switchgear, power distribution, facility grounding systems, and security or intrusion systems.
• Conduct advanced analytical testing of engines, compressors, and pumps, then develop and implement resulting improvements.
• Support facility upkeep, construction, commissioning, normal operations, third-party work oversight, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and correct safety and environmental concerns, respond to emergencies and callouts, and mentor fellow employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of electronic test instruments, electrical measurements, electrical circuits, blueprints, diagrams, and National Electrical Codes.
• Ability to estimate electrical and control system installation, operating, and maintenance expenses.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Basic computer and math skills, strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to speak and understand English; ability to work onsite in Savannah and perform physically demanding duties, including climbing above 150 feet and lifting up to 50 pounds.
