Associate, Project Accounting

Salary: $67,000–$87,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage hands-on job cost accounting for multiple construction projects.
• Process subcontractor accounts payable and client invoicing.
• Support project budgeting and maintain detailed knowledge of project costs.
• Partner with project management to provide accounting guidance and support.
• Communicate and enforce project accounting policies and company procedures.
• Monitor projects for financial risks and escalate issues when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of construction or project-related accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems or comparable business software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, and able to balance speed with quality.

• Experience with JD Edwards.
