Accounting Supervisor (Manufacturing)

hirify.global is integrating Kalwall Enterprises, a vertically integrated manufacturer of high-performance translucent daylighting solutions, into its Architectural Glass segment.

What you will do

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, cash application, vendor payments, and banking activities.
• Review cash transactions, wire transfers, ACH payments, bank reconciliations, and working capital activities.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
• Support finance integration into hirify.global, including GAAP accounting, corporate reporting, SOX compliance, standardized close processes, training, and change management.
• Maintain internal controls, support audits, investigate control deficiencies, and lead accounting process improvement, system enhancement, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience; previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Practical experience with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and internal control compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA.
• Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, and cash management processes.
• Manufacturing experience.
