Temporary Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite at PacStar HQ

What you will do

• Process sales orders accurately and support quote-to-cash accounting.
• Perform general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and period-end adjustments.
• Process inventory transactions and assist with inventory counts.
• Investigate discrepancies, report critical issues, and support internal audit preparation.
• Maintain accounting procedures compliant with SOX, U.S. GAAP, and applicable government regulations.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience with sales order processing, quote-to-cash operations, data analysis, and independent problem-solving.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sage, Avalara, SAP, Concur, or Crystal Reports.
