Review Appraiser

Location: Remote, based out of the western US; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Salary: 100% commission, typically a 35–50% commission split based on production levels

What you will do

• Review appraisal reports for compliance with appraisal standards, engagement scope, and risk requirements.
• Assess analysis using completeness, accuracy, adequacy, relevance, and reasonableness criteria.
• Discuss appraisal methodology with appraisers and mentor CIVAS appraisers when needed.
• Manage client communication, account milestones, and portfolio valuation assignments.
• Coordinate due diligence, inspections, and internal team assignments.
• Create client-specific templates and portfolio data tapes, and oversee review comments, processes, and revisions.

Requirements

• MAI designation required.
• 8–10 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and completion of advanced appraisal review coursework preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States required; visa sponsorship is not available.
