Technical Program Builder (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work arrangement.

Annual salary: $184,000–$267,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Assess R&D operational processes and identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation.
• Build automated agents, scripts, integrations, and tooling for repetitive R&D workflows.
• Architect and deploy an R&D knowledge base and Internal Developer Portal optimized for human and AI retrieval.
• Standardize R&D operations and lead a quarterly OKR and planning cycle.
• Build integrations with Jira, Linear, Slack, and Google Workspace to collect metrics and surface project health in real time.
• Improve planning efficiency and forecast accuracy while coordinating stakeholders across engineering pods.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or a related engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience building custom AI agents or using LLM APIs for productivity and automation.
• Experience managing planning cycles and OKR processes for technical teams.
• Experience with Jira or Linear and documentation platforms such as Notion or Confluence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex process changes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Developer Experience metrics.
• Software engineering or data analysis background.
• Agile or project management certification such as PMP or CSM.
• Experience in a high-growth technology environment.
• HealthTech experience and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
