Director Strategic Programs and Operations (Healthcare)

Location: Remote work from Pennsylvania, United States; office-based work site required.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise strategic planning and define long-range organizational goals.
• Align strategy and execution across business units and manage strategic portfolios.
• Oversee funding processes and technology-enabled transformation programs.
• Lead governance, executive reviews, reporting, risk management, and escalation resolution across a matrixed organization.
• Manage department operations, staffing, performance, workload allocation, and team development.
• Coordinate with business unit leaders and executive steering committees on project resources, budgets, and delivery issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, healthcare administration, finance, economics, operations, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 7 years of experience in strategy, transformation, operations, or consulting.
• At least 5 years of management experience and 3 years of experience in matrixed organizations.
• Experience with large data transformations supporting enterprise data architecture, data integrity, analytics, or member experience.
• Skills in agile project management, strategic problem-solving, executive storytelling, financial acumen, leadership, and execution management.
• Experience with AI/ML, GenAI, or agentic AI transformation capabilities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Healthcare, change management, operational improvement, or agile delivery management experience.
• PMP, CSM, or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification.
