Contract Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/React/AWS)

Location: London, UK; the contractor must be UK-based. Eligibility to obtain BPSS clearance is required.

What you will do

• Build a new Forms capability with a Java 21 and Spring Boot 3 backend service.
• Develop a React, Vite, and TanStack frontend portal.
• Deploy both services as containers on AWS EKS.
• Integrate user, project, assignment, document storage, authentication, and email services through REST APIs and JWT.
• Implement immutable reporting-period submission snapshots and update project totals through a single transactional approval flow.
• Maintain one scheme-independent codebase with lightweight deployment-specific configuration.

Requirements

• Senior full stack development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.
• Experience with React, Vite, and TanStack.
• Experience deploying containerized applications on AWS EKS.
• Experience integrating services through REST APIs and JWT authentication.
• Must be UK-based and eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
