What you will do
- Build and maintain account products supporting customer acquisition, onboarding, account management, and protection journeys.
- Design and develop stable, performant, and extensible full-stack software.
- Develop distributed, scalable, and highly available backend systems and APIs.
- Contribute to large web applications, design-system libraries, and customer-facing experiences.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, planning, support reviews, and software enhancements.
- Investigate complex problems, resolve root causes, and improve the maintainability of inherited and new code.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- 2+ years of software engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with Java, Python, or similar languages for backend systems and APIs.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, relational and non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency.
- Experience with React and JavaScript or TypeScript, browser and native-device testing, web performance, and accessibility.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, testing practices, and Agile development.
