Government Affairs and Industry Engagement Representative (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Point Pleasant, West Virginia; based in or willing to relocate to Charleston, West Virginia, with frequent travel to Mason County and other parts of the state.

Base salary: $130,000–$220,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Analyze initiatives from the Governor's office, executive cabinet, and senior state agency leadership.
• Advise leadership on legislative agendas in the West Virginia House and Senate.
• Represent Nscale in trade associations, policy coalitions, and industry relationships across energy, data center, and AI infrastructure sectors.
• Develop and execute West Virginia policy strategy with project leadership, community engagement, legal, and communications teams.
• Build durable relationships with community members, media, peer companies, and infrastructure partners.
• Ensure compliance with West Virginia ethics, lobbying registration, gift, and disclosure rules.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or political and legislative roles.
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging community members and media.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• High integrity and sound political judgment.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Charleston, West Virginia, with frequent travel throughout the state.
