IT Consultant - Integrations Solutions (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and document integration architecture using APIs, HL7/FHIR, messaging, and reusable interface patterns.
• Establish and govern reusable integration patterns across clinical, operational, partner, and AI-enabled platforms.
• Design for reliability, scalability, observability, supportability, high availability, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Translate clinical, operational, and business workflows into technical requirements, architecture diagrams, detailed designs, and implementation-ready solutions.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, clinical, operational, vendor, and platform service teams to troubleshoot integrations and transition them into production support.
• Support Epic and non-Epic integrations, including Epic APIs, AI model integrations, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2, Basic Auth, SFTP, Nova Notes, and related vendor services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of technical experience, including development and knowledge of Chronicles programming.
• At least three years of API development experience and healthcare integration or interoperability architecture experience.
• Required Epic certification or proficiency, with knowledge of Epic integration capabilities, Epic APIs, AI model integrations, Nova Notes, and Chronicles data structures.
• Expertise in HL7/FHIR, API design, messaging/interface patterns, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2, Basic Auth, SFTP, and vendor service integrations.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum, strong technical documentation and communication skills, and experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
