Field Service Technician (Waterjet)

Location: Based in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts, within one hour of an international airport. The role requires travel to customer sites more than 75% of the time, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $59,697–$99,494 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites to deliver, uncrate, inventory, install, configure, test, and repair OMAX Waterjet equipment.
• Assemble and connect equipment sub-assemblies, determine layouts and permanent placement, and provide post-installation support.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, software, and plumbing issues on installed equipment.
• Perform contract maintenance and train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and software programming.
• Maintain detailed digital service records with photos and technical attachments, and report product issues from the field.
• Support sales teams during customer-facing trade shows, demonstrations, and pre-sales visits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of field technical service or related experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with cutting solutions products.
• Hands-on experience with multimeters, electrical schematics, software utilities, torque wrenches, and dial indicators.
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, CNC, and PLC fundamentals, with strong computer skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Valid driver's license ability in all 50 states, frequent travel availability, and physical capacity to lift, push, pull, and grip over 70 pounds and work inside machines are required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in an electrical or mechanical field.
• Cutting solutions operational or manufacturing assembly experience.
