Tactical Operations Instructor (Close Quarters Combat/USCG): Delivering high-risk tactical training across advanced and basic tactical operations, marksmanship, and close quarters combat courses with an accent on instructor-led training, weapons certification, range operations, and maritime environments. Focus on designing and delivering programs of instruction, evaluating specialized-force skills, and performing opposing-force roles during demanding training exercises.
Location: Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do
- Deliver high-risk training for advanced and basic tactical operations, advanced marksmanship, and close quarters combat instructor courses.
- Design, prepare, and deliver programs of instruction, lesson plans, evaluation plans, and related educational materials.
- Prepare classrooms, course equipment, ranges, targets, shoot houses, and flat-range setups.
- Conduct evaluations, provide daily student feedback, maintain records, and participate in safety and performance review boards.
- Provide Tier I close quarters combat instruction and perform opposing-force roles using marking cartridges.
- Train in classroom, range, and maritime environments, including extreme weather and the use of heavy protective equipment.
Requirements
- Five years of tactical operations experience, including Tier I or Tier II close quarters combat training or equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience as a close quarters combat instructor or trainer at Tier I, Tier II, or an equivalent level.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and wear protective gear weighing up to 40 pounds for a full workday.
- Ability to work in extreme hot and cold weather, maritime environments, ranges, and high-risk training settings.
- Within 90 days, obtain and maintain certifications for the MK18, M870, SIG P229, and specified courses of fire.
- Complete required instructor training, TRASYS Instructor PQS, periodic evaluations, and Coast Guard training-system procedures.
