What you will do

• Inspect vessels and peripheral equipment before voyages to verify safe operation, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Use navigational equipment, weather forecasts, and tide and current predictions to protect vessel and crew safety.
• Operate vessels in oceans, bays, lakes, rivers, and coastal waters as directed by the supervisor.
• Adjust float and work plans with the supervisor as environmental conditions develop.
• Direct crew activities while deployed and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 100-Ton Master Near Coastal credential required.
• Experience operating vessels in marine and coastal environments.
• Ability to assess weather, tides, currents, and other environmental conditions for safe operations.
• Ability to direct crew activities during deployment.
