What you will do
- Lead operations and delivery across the Construction Materials Market Sector, coordinating resources, workloads, schedules, staffing, and utilization.
- Oversee multiple complex projects from initiation through execution, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations are met.
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, utilization, gross margin, P&L performance, backlog, invoices, and project financial reporting.
- Support QA/QC reviews, corrective actions, risk tracking, scope changes, deliverables, and resolution of technical issues.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff; participate in hiring, onboarding, staffing recommendations, succession planning, and training initiatives.
- Support proposals, client relationships, market growth, industry events, and identification of service expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, geologic engineering, geology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 12+ years of relevant consulting, technical, project management, operations, or industry experience preferred.
- 5+ years of project management, program management, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Professional registration such as PE or PG, project management certification, or a relevant technical credential is preferred where applicable.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required where business travel is necessary.
