What you will do

• Build front-end solutions and rich user interfaces for USPTO Patent Center modules.
• Translate product requirements and business objectives into complete user interfaces with Product Managers and UX designers.
• Design wireframes and responsive layouts using Angular and Bootstrap.
• Develop reactive forms and asynchronous functionality with Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript.
• Participate in design meetings, understand complex architectures and integrations, and contribute to code reviews.
• Ensure applications are accessible, secure, performant, and covered by automated tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong Angular and TypeScript expertise, including framework rendering lifecycles, generics, utility types, state management, and asynchronous JavaScript patterns.
• Proficiency with semantic HTML, DOM APIs, responsive CSS using Flexbox and CSS Grid, and modern browser features.
• Experience with WAI-ARIA, keyboard navigation, custom control accessibility, and Section 508 compliance.
• Must be eligible to obtain Public Trust.

Nice to have

• Backend knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Node.
• Understanding of AWS architecture and AI technologies.
