Accounting Operations Analyst

Location: New York City, United States — hybrid

Salary: $75,000–$105,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, expertise, business needs, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Support and continuously improve accounting workflows, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
• Contribute to accounting process optimization and financial systems enhancement initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to simplify, automate, or eliminate manual steps.
• Monitor process performance and drive improvements in accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support internal controls, SOX process mapping, flowcharting, and audit requests.
• Provide reporting and ad hoc analysis, including operational support across Accounting Operations initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong ERP experience; NetSuite is preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems and improving processes.
• Experience supporting month-end close or working in SOX-controlled environments is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Coupa and Concur.
• Pharmaceutical experience involving clinical trials.
