Engineering Intern (Water)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. The role is primarily office-based, with remote work available when needed and travel to hirify.global offices, project sites, and supplier sites as required.

Salary: $26–$31.

What you will do

• Assist with green stormwater infrastructure and site design.
• Prepare construction plans, technical details, design calculations, engineering estimates, and specifications.
• Apply civil engineering principles to develop efficient and economical solutions in an interdisciplinary project environment.
• Prepare drawings from detailed notes and specifications and coordinate with technicians and engineers.
• Support Senior Engineers and Designers with sector-related assignments and detailed project design.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques while making minor adaptations and modifications independently.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work in an office environment and travel to offices, project sites, and supplier sites when required.

• Previous internship or co-op experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
