TL;DR
Solution/Cloud Architect (AWS): Designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions for client proposals and delivery with an accent on AWS architecture, AI/ML components, and pre-sales engagement. Focus on leading discovery workshops, creating architectural blueprints, modeling infrastructure costs, and aligning solution decisions with client and delivery-team needs.
Location: Fully remote for candidates based in Europe, with occasional business trips to Canada every 2–6 months for client meetings and events. A Canadian visa or EU passport and the ability to travel to Canada are required.

What you will do
- Lead client discovery workshops and capture technical and business requirements.
- Design high-level architecture diagrams, define component responsibilities, and align solutions with client goals.
- Prepare technical content for proposals, RFP responses, and solution blueprints.
- Present architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders and support pre-sales discussions.
- Select cloud services and tools, estimate infrastructure costs, size solutions, and assess delivery effort.
- Transfer solution knowledge to delivery teams and collaborate with AWS Solution Architects and AWS Sales teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in solution or cloud architecture, including at least 3 years with AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and Bedrock.
- Hands-on experience designing AI/ML solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, AI-powered analytics, or custom ML pipelines.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines, infrastructure as code, testing, and monitoring.
- Ability to model cloud costs, prepare TCO comparisons, and evaluate performance, cost, and scalability trade-offs.
- English proficiency at C1/C2 level and eligibility to travel to Canada are required.
Nice to have
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and security practices such as Landing Zones, IAM boundaries, and Guardrails.
- Experience in regulated industries, including finance, healthcare, or government.
- Exposure to Azure, GCP, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
