Training Specialist (Insurance Operations)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid with 2 days required in the office each week. New-hire training runs full-time from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: CAD 54,000–77,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary variable incentive plan.

hirify.global provides financial services with an Insurance Operations function supporting Customer Service and New Business.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver department-specific learning activities, including new-hire training across Customer Service and New Business.
• Design, develop, and deliver training content such as job aids, videos, interactive e-learning modules, communications, and scripts.
• Manage and continuously improve curriculums, process documentation, and training materials in PROsite, the Internal Knowledge Base, and LMS systems.
• Partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and project teams to coordinate training plans, schedules, technology changes, and material delivery.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, quality results, trending, and measurement tools, then recommend improvements.
• Support post-training transitions through side-by-sides, coaching, quality reviews, and additional development opportunities.

Requirements

• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience, with 2–3 years of financial services experience; life insurance experience is preferred.
• Certification in adult education, or a commitment to obtain certification within the first 2 years, is mandatory.
• Experience designing and delivering virtual and classroom training, including e-learning and web-based materials.
• Experience creating and maintaining process documentation and organizational learning programs.
• Strong coaching, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Stream, SharePoint, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Articulate 360, Vyond, and similar content development tools.
• Experience with hirify.global Insurance Operations processes.
• Life insurance experience.
