Senior/Staff Physical Verification Engineer (ASIC/SoC)

What you will do

• Perform physical verification signoff for advanced-node ASIC and SoC designs using Calibre.
• Run and manage DRC, LVS, ERC, antenna, ESD, PERC/reliability, density/fill, and foundry tape-out checks.
• Optimize hierarchical and flat verification runs, including runtime, resource usage, issue tracking, prioritization, and closure.
• Work with Place & Route owners and backend teams to resolve full-chip layout integration issues.
• Support the physical design flow from netlist to GDSII and contribute to tape-out execution.
• Develop automation, methodology, and flow scripts using Perl and Tcl.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on physical verification experience with advanced TSMC process nodes; N4 and below is preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency with the industry-standard Calibre tool.
• Strong understanding of the complete IC design flow from front-end design through backend implementation and signoff.
• Tape-out experience is required.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Tcl, and Make scripting is advantageous.
