Forklift Driver (Steel Manufacturing)

Location: Wingfield, South Australia, Australia. On-site work on the day shift: Monday–Thursday 7:00 am–3:00 pm and Friday 5:00 am–11:00 am, with overtime eligibility.

What you will do

• Safely pick, load, and unload steel products from trucks and rail.
• Operate forklifts, gantry cranes, and processing machinery.
• Receive and store materials, pick and load orders, and complete dispatch duties.
• Provide occasional coverage for scheduling activities.
• Identify safety issues, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Current forklift licence or ticket.
• Experience operating forklifts with a lift capacity greater than 5 tonnes.
• Strong commitment to personal and workplace safety.
• Positive, reliable, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and computer skills.
• Ability to work safely in a productive, customer-focused workplace.
