Location: Full-time on-site position in San Mateo, California, USA

What you will do
- Research, develop, and ship novel AI algorithms for adaptive sensing.
- Design, build, and validate modeling and analysis pipelines for imaging and sensing applications.
- Own technical problems end to end, from hypothesis formation and experimentation to analysis and communication of results.
- Collaborate with scientific and engineering teams to translate research into scalable, production-grade capabilities.
- Track emerging AI research and apply relevant ideas to strengthen the platform.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML research, engineering, or data science.
- Deep expertise in at least one area: computer vision, representation learning, or reinforcement learning.
- Strong publication record in computational methods, machine learning, or a related research field.
- Expert-level Python and PyTorch skills, with proficiency in pandas and scikit-learn.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
