CSA Project Engineer (Fusion Energy)

Location: Devens, Massachusetts or Richmond, Virginia, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $90,000–$145,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Address constructability and design issues across civil, structural, and architectural scopes for process systems.
• Review external engineering documentation and coordinate with outside engineering firms.
• Lead cross-functional 3D model reviews and resolve constructability, installation, and interface issues.
• Plan, sequence, assemble, and issue Construction Work Packages while coordinating engineering, procurement, contractors, field supervision, and subcontractors.
• Support field problem-solving, construction quality, configuration management, reporting, forecasting, and compliance with engineering requirements.
• Manage system turnover activities, including schedules, walkdowns, inspection records, punch lists, issue tracking, and turnover packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least five years of experience supporting design, construction, and execution of civil or structural projects or process systems.
• Experience with CSA scopes, including structural steel, concrete, foundations, embeds, anchors, equipment supports, and building systems.
• Understanding of the engineering, design, and construction lifecycle for complex industrial facilities or process systems.
• Knowledge of IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes and standards, and ability to interpret construction documents such as P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Additional experience with industrial construction, process systems, or complex facility execution.
