Storeroom Clerk (Manufacturing)

Location: Waco, Texas, United States; onsite role. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $30.28 per hour, plus an annual bonus based on plant performance metrics.

What you will do

• Purchase materials and supplies for production and maintenance operations.
• Create purchase orders and handle work orders for forklifts and clamp trucks.
• Receive supplies and parts, maintain documentation, and submit paperwork to accounting.
• Count inventory, maintain stock levels, and manage vendor files and inventory control records.
• Research suppliers, product quality, pricing, availability, terms, and economical alternatives.
• Maintain price records, resolve discrepancies, communicate issues to maintenance and management, and follow safety and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements

• Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, AS400, Skype, and standardized inventory control experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, manuals, and contracts.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, calculate figures, and complete computer and paperwork accurately.
• Effective communication with vendors and employees, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. work authorization is required.
• Availability to work overtime as needed and complete a pre-employment skills assessment.

Nice to have

• 2–5 years of practical experience in storeroom, purchasing, or accounting functions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially corrugated packaging.
