Inventory Control Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Albany, NY / Slingerlands, NY; onsite Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Pay rate: $18.60–$25.80 per hour

What you will do

• Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate warehouse discrepancies and document inventory quantities and work scope in detail.
• Use computerized inventory systems and support complex material movements and manufacturing inventory flows.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and occasional hand tools.
• Support annual physical inventory preparation, execution, and closeout.
• Collaborate with Leads, Managers, and cross-functional teams while supporting inventory operations across sites as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education or training is preferred.
• Prior inventory control or inventory management experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior ERP experience is preferred.
• Basic ability to calculate sums, differences, products, quotients, rates, and ratios.
• Ability to stand for long periods, frequently lift, bend, and pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, communication, teamwork, flexibility, and attention-to-detail skills.
