Remote Seasonal Pharmacy Technician

Location: Fully remote, limited to candidates residing in Florida, Texas, Georgia, or Tennessee

What you will do

• Support members, providers, and pharmacies through phone, chat, email, and written correspondence.
• Resolve questions about mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication costs, prior authorization, and claims adjudication.
• Process prescription claims with network pharmacies and review accuracy against benefit guidelines and contract standards.
• Support clinical pharmacists with patient and provider outreach, appointment scheduling, program enrollment, and medication adherence follow-up.
• Document interactions and resolutions to support continuity of care, quality assurance, compliance, and reporting.
• Use AI-enabled tools and internal knowledge systems while coordinating issues through final resolution.

Requirements

• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA.
• 1–3 years of pharmacy technician experience in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, PBM contact center, mail order, or specialty pharmacy setting.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to multitask across phone, chat, and email queues, manage workload independently, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Must reside in Florida, Texas, Georgia, or Tennessee and be able to work fully remotely throughout the seasonal assignment.
