Project Manager (Florida PALM)

What you will do

• Lead agency readiness and transition activities supporting the Florida PALM implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance.
• Coordinate readiness activities across accounting, payroll, reporting, financial operations, and other business units.
• Manage Readiness Workbooks, workshops, training, end-user readiness, and organizational change activities.
• Review business systems such as the Citrus Revenue System and define requirements for remediation, enhancements, and integration.
• Collaborate with program teams, business owners, subject-matter experts, agency leadership, and other stakeholders to meet readiness deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Project Management Professional certification, an equivalent certification, or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
• At least 7 years of IT experience and 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple technologies and business functions.
• Experience leading enterprise implementation or modernization projects.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and executive presentations.

Nice to have

• Financial systems, ERP, accounting, payroll, budgeting, or reporting implementation experience.
• Florida PALM, FLAIR, ERP migration, or financial modernization experience.
• Organizational change management and public-sector or state-government project experience.
• Experience with data cleansing, system remediation, and enterprise integrations.
