Administrative Tech CDH Peds Part-time Days (Pediatrics)

Salary: $18.58–$26.94 per hour

What you will do

• Perform unit-based reception, clerical, and medical record functions while serving as a liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Provide basic pediatric patient care, including vital signs, skin care, personal care, ambulation, positioning, and oral suctioning.
• Collect, label, and transport specimens and blood components in accordance with safety and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked patient rooms and operate and clean equipment according to standards.
• Assist with admissions, patient and family orientation, discharge and transfer preparation, and patient transport.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current student in Medical Assistant, EMT-B, Clinical Nurse Assistant, or Patient Care Technician studies, or one year of healthcare experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to communicate with staff, patients, and families and follow clinical, regulatory, and infection-control standards.
• Successful completion of a background check is required after an offer.

Nice to have

• Additional language skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
