Senior Specialist, Plant Finance (Manufacturing)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; support for the Rockrimmon and Colorado Springs manufacturing facilities

Salary: $90,000–$114,000 per year, depending on skills and experience

What you will do

• Serve as a finance business partner to plant management and provide operational decision support.
• Analyze financial results, manufacturing variances, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
• Support monthly and annual forecasting, budgeting, and alignment with operational, division, and corporate goals.
• Maintain plant cost accounting processes, including standard costing rates, material costs, bills of materials, and routings.
• Complete month-end close activities, inventory valuations, reserve calculations, and plant financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Support productivity projects and provide financial education and guidance to non-finance employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred, including financial modeling and analysis.
• Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control concepts.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint; Business Objects or SAP BPC experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent-working skills.
