Backend Developer Intern (Python)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; hybrid work with two office days per week

What you will do

• Contribute to developer tools and infrastructure within the DevTooling team.
• Support the software delivery lifecycle and CI/CD ecosystem.
• Code, test, and deploy solutions for real-world client projects.
• Manage and resolve Jira tickets while collaborating in daily stand-ups.
• Participate in code reviews and improve software quality through feedback.

Requirements

• Currently studying Software Engineering or Computer Science at bachelor's level or higher in Quebec.
• Eligible to work full-time in Canada for the entire 15-week internship.
• Experience with Python.
• Previous internship experience.
• Collaborative approach, ownership, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in DevOps, infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitOps, and Terraform.

Nice to have

• Participation in hackathons or personal software projects.
