Sustainability Data & Insights Product Manager

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with four days in the office each week in most locations

Total cash compensation: $95,275.00–$139,741.66 annually, including annual base salary and target incentive.

What you will do

• Document and maintain SOPs for sustainability data collection, system workflows, and internal review procedures.
• Coordinate annual sustainability data collection, approvals, reporting, compliance, and handoffs with data partners.
• Analyze ESG-related client requests, including RFPs and DDQs, to identify trends by region, product, and account.
• Maintain sustainability sales-enablement materials, client talking points, investor resources, and positioning content.
• Support ESG-focused ownership analysis, investor materials, ratings trends, and Investor Relations coordination.
• Build dashboards, synthesize data into insights, and provide recommendations for strategy, prioritization, and OKR planning.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in sustainability/ESG, data analysis, marketing or communications analytics, or a related field.
• Experience building or maintaining SOPs, documentation, or process governance.
• Ability to work across platform, survey, engagement, and RFP trend data and synthesize it into a coherent narrative.
• Strong written communication skills for materials used by sales teams, investors, and leadership.
• High attention to detail and the ability to identify broader trends.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular in-office collaboration.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ESG ratings and rankings methodologies.
• FSA credential, progress toward the credential, or an equivalent sustainability certification.
• Experience supporting external assurance or audit processes.
