Clearance Coordinator (Job Family)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; operational support may be required during extended hours, critical work windows, and emergencies.

Salary: $69,900–$123,200 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate clearance-related activities supporting gas system operations.
• Work with Gas Control, Gas Operations, contractors, and suppliers to plan and execute work safely.
• Monitor schedules, operational priorities, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support or lead audits, investigations, operational reviews, emergency response, and restoration activities.
• Analyze operational issues and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in utility operations, gas operations, project coordination, system planning, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Gas utility experience.
• Experience with compliance, auditing, or operational risk management.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Project management experience or training.
