GTM Engineer (AI)

Base salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the GTM automation layer, including enrichment, lead and account routing, scoring, outbound sequencing, and integrations across CRM, data warehouse, and go-to-market tools.
• Audit and re-architect existing workflows, making deliberate build, rebuild, and retirement decisions.
• Build scalable outbound infrastructure with enrichment waterfalls, signal-based triggers, AI-assisted research, and personalized messaging.
• Deploy and operate production AI agents for research, enrichment, qualification, and outreach drafting, including versioning, testing, monitoring, and failure handling.
• Set technical direction for the GTM stack, design data contracts and scalable architecture, and instrument systems with alerting, error handling, and runbooks.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership and evaluate build-versus-buy decisions as the stack evolves.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience scaling GTM systems in companies ranging from $0 to $20M ARR.
• Strong technical fundamentals with SQL, API integrations, and scripting; able to build independently without waiting on engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining AI agents in production, including output monitoring, model and API failure handling, cost and latency management, and safe iteration.
• Experience with modern automation and AI tooling such as Clay, n8n, Make, or similar platforms, plus direct work with LLM APIs.
• Comfort with ambiguity, architectural ownership, scalability tradeoffs, and communicating technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in RevOps, marketing operations, or sales engineering at a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech company.
• Experience with warehouse-first data architectures, Snowflake/dbt-style pipelines, and reverse ETL.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries such as fintech or healthtech.
• Experience as the first or founding GTM or automation hire.
