Production Chemist - Astrea

Location: Isle of Man; laboratory-based onsite role with extended standing, manual equipment operation, and participation in a 24/7 shift-working environment.

Salary: £27,000–£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus additional shift allowance.

• Manufacture chromatography products and materials according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and conduct quality control activities.
• Support process optimisation studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate and maintain production equipment.
• Train colleagues and support cross-training across the wider product portfolio.

Requirements

• Computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a laboratory-based manufacturing environment with extended standing and manual equipment operation.
• Availability for 24/7 shift working.
