Group Leader - Quality Control

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a QC team, supporting performance, career development, retention, and succession planning.
• Plan resources and workloads, prioritize activities, and ensure testing and customer commitments are delivered on time.
• Provide scientific and technical leadership while troubleshooting complex laboratory issues and making risk-based decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement across QC operations to improve quality, efficiency, compliance, and ways of working.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, align customer and business requirements, and contribute to departmental and cross-site strategic projects.
• Champion quality, regulatory, and safety compliance, including support for customer and regulatory audits.

Requirements

• BSc or equivalent experience in a scientific subject is preferred.
• Experience leading or mentoring people in a laboratory or quality environment.
• Experience working in Quality within a cGMP-regulated environment.
• Strong scientific, technical problem-solving, planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage resources, competing priorities, operational deadlines, and complex laboratory challenges.
