Accounts Payable Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $50,000–$62,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Process invoices accurately and on time while meeting productivity targets.
• Communicate invoice discrepancies and coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and business partners to resolve them.
• Prioritize payments according to payment terms and business needs.
• Follow accounts payable procedures, internal controls, and approval workflows.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and respond to vendor inquiries within service-level expectations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain.
• At least 2 years of experience with full-cycle accounts payable and three-way matching.
• Experience with ERP systems such as M3, D365, Oracle, JD Edwards, or SAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
