Location: Washington, D.C.; remote-optional within the United States

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually, with the applicable range depending on work location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Generate distinctive enterprise ideas for hirify.global political coverage.
• Work with reporters to develop ideas into high-impact stories that break through.
• Collaborate across the politics team and newsroom to connect reporting across beats.
• Identify opportunities for cross-team collaboration and agenda-setting coverage.
• Conduct live interviews and help produce quality digital and newsletter content.

Requirements

• Reporting experience in a fast-paced news environment.
• Demonstrated experience landing major scoops and conceptualizing big ideas.
• Strong writing skills for online platforms and newsletters.
• Experience working across teams to produce quality content.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to command a stage and conduct live interviews.
