MIPS Professional Services Consultant (Remote - US)

Location: Remote, United States; approximately 15% travel required.

What you will do

• Manage recurring MIPS consulting clients and host remote consultations for clients and prospects.
• Provide MIPS industry expertise, software training, and best-practice guidance to internal teams and specialty practices.
• Investigate, triage, and report software bugs, assist with workarounds, and provide feedback to Product Management.
• Collaborate with the Consulting team to develop and maintain MIPS best practices.
• Maintain client retention, 75% billable utilization, project records, opportunities, and client events in Salesforce.
• Participate in product education, team meetings, the national user conference, and other department initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare IT and MIPS.
• Assertive communication style with the ability to build strong relationships and influence behavior.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel approximately 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience in one of Nextech’s primary medical specialties.
• Knowledge of medical clinic workflows.
• Understanding of HIPAA and protected health information.
