Senior Product Designer - Driver Compliance

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid working model with support for in-person and virtual work.

Hiring range: $104,400–$135,700 CAD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Drive product design initiatives in cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct user research, testing, and analysis to guide user-centered design solutions.
• Gather requirements, align design work with business objectives, and communicate concepts and design decisions to stakeholders.
• Work with developers and product managers to support successful implementation of design solutions.
• Champion the adoption, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable design system across products and platforms.
• Mentor junior and earlier-stage designers, contribute to design critiques and hiring, and improve design practices, processes, and tooling.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of product design, interaction patterns, trade-offs, and responsive web applications.
• Proficiency with UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Principle.
• Ability to lead the user-centered design process from conception to completion and develop design strategy and vision.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience; related fields include computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics engineering.
• Excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and multitasking skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
